Industrial Electrician

Full Time Hourly  – Towanda, PA (On-Site)

Position Summary

Mountain Lake Electric is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Industrial Electrician to join our team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems, ensuring reliable operations across our customer's facilities. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience, strong technical knowledge, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment

• Troubleshoot electrical issues in PLCs, motor controls, and power distribution systems

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings

• Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades

• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and company safety standards

• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and all electrical safety protocols

• Work in collaboration with maintenance and engineering teams to improve system reliability

• Safely perform work in confined spaces and at heights when required

• Maintain accurate maintenance and service records​

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred

• Minimum 3 years of industrial electrical experience

• Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E standards

• Demonstrated experience with PLCs, motor controls, and power distribution systems

• Working knowledge of OSHA electrical safety regulations including lockout/tagout

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings

• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment and control systems

• Ability to work safely in confined spaces and at heights

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and wear required PPE

• OSHA 10/30 and NFPA 70E training preferred

• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening
