Mountain Lake Electric Scholarship

Mountain Lake Electric is proud to support the next generation of electrical professionals through our annual scholarship program. We believe in investing in local talent and helping students pursue careers that power our communities.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the Mountain Lake Electric Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Bradford County resident

  • High School Senior

  • Pursuing post-secondary education (bachelor/associate degree, trade school, etc.) in the electrical field, including but not limited to: Electrical Engineering, Electrician Programs, Industrial Controls, Renewable Energy Systems and other applicable programs.

 

Student Applicant to provide:

  • Scholarship Application Form

  • Two-page essay (typed, double-spaced) addressing:

    • Why you are interested in the electrical field

    • Your career goals and aspirations

    • How this scholarship will help you achieve those goals

  • Resume

 

Award Details

  • Amount: One applicant will receive a one-time monetary award of $500 in the form of a check, which can be used toward post-secondary education expenses.

  • The awarded applicant will also be offered the chance to participate in a non-paid internship with Mountain Lake Electric to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field.
